Max’s Cosmic Countdown: Candy Bar Graph

Hey Blasters, GC here! We are halfway through Max’s Cosmic Countdown and GC has a very special edible art project she wants to share with all you Blasters. Graphs are a visual way for people to understand numbers, so I thought it might be fun to take a look at our Valentine’s Day treats through a mathematical perspective. For today’s activity, we are going to learn how to make fun Valentine’s themed graphs using some of our favorite holiday candies!

Hey Blasters! Can you believe another Valentine’s Day has arrived? It feels like only yesterday I was passing out heart-shaped treats to all the Mutts roaming around The Park. To gear up for this special holiday, I wanted to make sure you had some cool Valentine’s cards to hand out to all your family, friends, and classmates. Feel free to spice these up with some galactic goodies to share with all your friends!-Max

Stay tuned for all the great activities, recipes, and presents we have in store for you this week! Tomorrow, Kisha plans to show us how to light up our Valentine’s Day.

Oozami: The Quest for the Lost Larva

Blasters, we are in serious need of your help. When GC went down to the Larva Den this morning to feed all our soon-to-be Mutts, she took roll and noticed that one of the Larvas was missing! Our Larvas are adventurous little ones, but none have ever gotten past Monster Mutt Rescue without the supervision of their Blaster! We immediately ran up to Spaceport and asked Monty for help. He used his super surveillance powers and found our little Larva in a highly classified part of Spaceport. In order to get to it, we must climb through the (treacherous) maze that is Oozami.

Have you ever entered the Oozami chambers aboard the Spaceport? These rooms are incredibly challenging to get through and require both physical and mental endurance. At the top of each Oozami level is a door with restricted access. The only way to get into them is if you can climb onto each platform and answer complicated math problems.

Recently, one of our top blasters took to the chambers and sent back a log of their adventure. Read on to join in on the exciting adventure awaiting YOU at the Math Academy -

Ok! I am gearing up to begin my search for this lost Larva in the Oozami chamber. All I need to do is select my topic and lesson and I am good to go!

Blasters, I am now in Oozami. I can already feel my heart racing, The pressure is on to find this little guy. I just keep telling myself to not look at the slime. It will only make me nervous and it is so bright that it can get distracting when trying to activate these switches!
