Deck Out Your Pod

After saving the galaxy from aliens and asteroid fields, it is nice for a Blaster to kick back and relax in their Pod. Not only is it a great place to unwind, but you can decorate your Pod to match your own style. Take a look at some of the fun things you can do with your Pod.

Go to the store and browse through a ton of different types of furniture. Are you in the mood for a certain theme? Perhaps you like to mix and match styles that fit your particular taste. Pick out various beds, couches, tables, chairs, and electronic devices to give your room a signature look. Once you have purchased your furniture, go into your inventory to place them in your Pod. Give your Pod a welcoming atmosphere with your unique style.

One of the coolest features about your Pod is the Star Status. Here you can see the progress you have made during your training at the Intergalactic Space Station. Watch in awe as you collect more stars and they begin to form a constellation. As you gain more experience, you can proudly display your Star Status for fellow Blasters to see.

Finally, relax alongside your Monster Mutt as they can enjoy their very own Mutt Pod. There you can care for your Mutt and decorate its Mutt Pod. Choose the perfect style for your companion that will make them feel right at home.

While you may be floating in outer space, that does not mean you cannot have a place to call home while at the Intergalactic Space Station. Check out all the awesome features your Pod and Mutt Pod have to offer and start giving them a look that exemplifies your personality.

What are your Favorite Games in Math Blaster?

Do you want to earn the title of Mathlete of the Week and be featured in our newspaper? Check out some of Math Blaster’s most popular games! From battling the alien in Alien Wrangler, to avoiding the hazardous chemicals in Oozami, to transforming your B.F.Fs into crazy creatures, these fun and exciting games in Math Blaster can help you earn Merits and Star Points, which are used to judge your promotion in terms of Rank and Star Status, and Credits, which you can use to purchase a few items to decorate your pod or to dress up your Monster Mutt. Read on to find out more!

Red Alert

One of our signature and most exhilarating game! The game requires strategic planning and perfect aiming. Wait for a red alert to go off, then head over to the “Red Alert” portal, and help protect the space station from foreign attacks! You can always throw in some friendly competition with your fellow BFFs to see who can make it to the top places on our leaderboard.

Hyperblast

Blast through obstacles and defeat the bosses by using your supreme math skills! Successful completion of each stage can help you unlock special items and advanced stages. Avoid the mean and evil alien creatures that block your path and collect the shields to boost your health. You will need a lot of it to fend off the last boss in each stage!

Angle Attack

The enemies have infiltrated our I.S.P. Drive them away from our peaceful spaceport by defeating the evil octopus! Attacking the enemy is simple, find the correct angle that the enemy is hiding in and submit the right answer to fire out your most powerful weapon!

Nebula Knockout

If you cannot access Face Off because you don’t have a Monster Mutt, don’t worry! Nebula Knockout is equally as fun. Earn new belts and higher ranks by battling another mutt in the ring. You can either select Single Player mode where you are given an avatar, or raise your monster mutt to fight head to head with your BFF’s mutt or any other mutt in the I.S.P! How many KOs have you scored?

Morph Madness

You can prank your fellow cadets by turning them into bizarre alien creatures! Collect the floating items, head into the Chem Lab, and start mixing the chemicals to create these deadly fun solutions!

These are only a small portion of the games you can challenge in Math Blaster. Start playing these games, make it on our leaderboard by earning a top high score, and be officially recognized by your fellow cadets!

Max’s Marvelous Missions

Attention Cadets! We have an EXCITING mission for you. Max is planning a special Math Blaster challenge known as “Max’s Marvelous Missions”. Starting next week, our top Blasters will send you off on a photo scavenger hunt unlike any other. Joining this challenge, you will need to complete a series of tasks around the space station, and report back to Max with screenshots that shows that you have completed each assignment. After submitting your photos to the Math Blaster team, you have the chance to win a few extra coins to be used around the space station.

The first activity might feel a bit simple to all you experienced and accomplished Blasters out there, but the level of difficulty for each of the following tasks will only increase. Along the way, you might need to wrangle a few aliens, morph your fellow cadets into crazy creatures, or battle another mutt in Nebula Knockout. When it comes to Max’s Marvelous Missions, don’t be afraid to turn to your fellow blasters for help. After all, we are all about working together, here in the I.S.P!

A Guide to Mutt Training

One of the most exciting and rewarding experiences as a Blaster is raising and training your very own Monster Mutt. From the moment it chooses you as a larva to the day you release your fully grown Mutt to explore new planets, you embark on an incredible journey that fosters a close relationship with your new companion. Here is an overview of how to train your Monster Mutt.

Begin this lifelong friendship by visiting the Larva Den. As you walk around, wait for one of the larva to choose you to be its trainer. Once a larva has chosen you, you can begin your adventures together! Start forming your bond with your larva by playing with, caring for, and feeding it. Once your larva has become acquainted with you, head to the Incubator where your larva will transform into a baby Monster Mutt! After caring for your baby Mutt, it will become a child and the real training can begin.

Once your Monster Mutt has become a child, it can start training its skills. Try out Snatch-It to test your Mutt’s speed, reaction time, and jumping abilities. This early training will help your Monster Mutt grow into a teen, where it will be able to further hone its unique Special Skill and Super Power at the MuttTrainingCenter. After training these skills and practicing in Face Off, your Monster Mutt will have learned all the abilities necessary to reach adulthood.

At this point, you have taught your Monster Mutt everything there is to learn. As a fully grown Mutt, it has mastered its Special Skill and Super Power and has the confidence to travel to other planets to explore. To release your Mutt, go to ShuttleBay where you can send it to a distant planet. Do not be sad, though! You can still visit your Mutt by taking the shuttle to your Mutt’s planet, and it will hang out in your Mutt Pod as well. After releasing your Monster Mutt, you can return to the Larva Den to begin training a new Mutt and fostering a brand new friendship!

Training a Monster Mutt requires patience and devotion, but the reward is a lifelong friend and great memories along the way. If you do not have a Monster Mutt yet, hurry to the Larva Den to begin this amazing journey! The New Tweeter Mutt has Arrived

Have you raised and released multiple Monster Mutts, but been wanting a different kind of awesome alien pet? Well, lucky for you, a new breed of Monster Mutt is now available in the Rescue Dome! Known as the Tweeter Mutt, you may have seen this little monster hanging out with GC in the past, but this is the first time that it will be available to all of you Blaster cadets.

To get this cute Tweeter Mutt, head over to the Larva Den to find a pink and purple colored larva and wait for it to choose you as its Blaster buddy. Once you and your Tweeter Mutt have bonded, take it to the Incubator and wait for it to grow. After a few hours full of anticipation, your mutt will be grown into a cute baby mutt! At this point, it will be your responsibility to feed, care for, and train your mutt as it grows. When it has aged enough, take your mutt to the MonsterMuttTrainingCenter to teach it new tricks and battle moves before it shows off its skills at games like Face-Off or Nebula Knockout.

You can even give your Tweeter Mutt a touch of style by shopping in the mutt store to find cool items that were designed just for them. There is a whole selection of Tweeter Color Kits to choose from that will give your mutt a unique look. Also, choose from a selection of fun toys and food to give your mutt the care it deserves! Once you have finished caring for, raising, and training your new mutt, head to the ShuttleBay to release it. Don’t fret, your Tweeter mutt will still be found on the back bench in your Mutt Pod, so you’ll still be able to see you alien pal whenever you’d like!

Head to the Larva Den today to find one of these cute Monster Mutts and be the first of your Blaster B.F.F.s to raise one of these unique Tweeters, today!

Monster Mutt Name History

When you first joined the Math Blaster family, among one of the first things you could do was adopt your own larva. You got to take care of it, feed it, and even choose its name! Even if you chose a randomized Monster Mutt name, have you ever given thought to what your Monster Mutt’s name could mean?

Just like all of our names have a specific meaning to them, your Monster Mutt’s name can also have a special meaning. Use your imagination to think of a creative story behind your Monster Mutt’s name. Take a pencil and paper and write out your Monster Mutt’s special story. Whatever type of Mutt yours might be, every single one of your pals can have a unique tale to tell.

For instance, maybe your Monster Mutt came from a far-off planet unknown to humankind and unknown to the Math Blaster World. Perhaps your Monster Mutt got its name because of something special it does, or because of its creative colors. You might have even named your Mutt specifically so it would be similar to your name in Math Blaster.

Whatever tale you choose to tell about your Monster Mutt, do not forget that there are endless amount of possibilities and creative ideas to choose from. Create your very own story with your Monster Mutt and about what their name means, and make your Math Blaster experience even more exciting! What Are Your “Favorites” in Math Blaster?

There are a variety of different activities to do in the Math Blaster World. All of you Blasters out there have been training diligently, testing out your math minds as you play different games and hang out with your B.F.F.’s. What are your favorite activities in Math Blaster? Do you have any favorite games that you have to play whenever you log on?

Do you have a Monster Mutt you are currently taking care of? Finding your own Monster Mutt and raising it is another cool adventure you can be a part of when you play Math Blaster. Even GC and Max have their own Mutts, so why don’t you join in the fun and find a Monster Mutt of your own? Watch them grow, learn, and train, just like you!

HyperBlast is one of those games in Math Blaster that is sure to keep you on your toes. You have to dodge dangerous obstacles and defeat the alien boss at the end of some out-of-this-world tunnels! Also, you even get to practice your math skills at a high-paced rate, and you can choose from multiple levels to fit your math education needs.

Don’t forget that you also have the option of making your Math Blaster experience even more exciting — and even competitive — by challenging all of your B.F.F.s in a high score battle. After you finish playing games such as HyperBlast or B-Force Blaster, make sure to invite all of your friends to try and beat your stellar high score.
